Research Interest
My current research focuses on the relationship between lung cancer and aging, and the underlying molecular mechanisms of lung tumorigenesis. The long term goal is to identify novel molecular targets and treatment strategies to improve lung cancer therapy. I am also interested in studying the signaling transduction pathways and functions of inflammation and cell death in the development of cigarette smoke-induced diseases (COPD/emphysema).
