Research Interest
Dr. Lai's research interests include the role of alterations of the extracellular matrix (ECM) components in the airway remodeling in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and the underlying mechanisms of increased ECM deposition and degradation of ECM molecules in COPD.
