Research Interest
Dr. Alston’s research interests focus on African American fathers' involvement in education, fatherhood, academic achievement, equity in education, school, family and community partnerships, strengthening families, and diversity, equity and inclusion.
Clinical Interest
Dr. Tasha Alston is an Assistant Professor and Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives for General Internal Medicine. Dr. Alston’s previous role was Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.
