Research Interest
Dr. Bedoya has conducted research in Mycobacterium infection and served as the physician sponsor for a study on interventions in the MICU aimed at reducing C. difficile infection rates.
Clinical Interest
Dr. Bedoya's clinical interests focus on patient education, patient safety, and quality improvement. In that capacity, he serves on several committees including Readmissions Committee, Quality and Patient Safety Committee, and Infection Prevention Committee at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital.
Educational Interest
Dr. Bedoya has great interest in patient education as well as resident, medical student, nurse practitioner, and physician assistant education with a focus on Hospital Medicine.
