Dr. Dongell is a Clinical Instructor of Medicine and staff hospitalist in the Division of General Internal Medicine, Section of Hospital Medicine. She earned her MD at the University of South Florida before completing internal medicine residencies at Allegheny General Hospital and Western Pennsylvania Hospital. Before joining the faculty at the University of Pittsburgh in 2017, she worked as a hospitalist in FL and PA. She is an experienced educator, having served on several education committees and regularly presenting to medical staff and residents. Dr. Dongell also volunteers extensively in the community, partnering with several organizations.
