Research Interest
Dr. McAdams' research interest include hospital quality improvement and patient safety and developing tools for billing and hospital length of stay.
Clinical Interest
Dr. McAdams, MD, joined the Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh in 2001. He is currently a full-time hospitalist and a core faculty member in the Section of Hospital Medicine. His areas of active interest include adult hospital medicine, curriculum development, hospital quality improvement, patient safety, and the development of tools for billing and length of stay.
Educational Interest
Dr. McAdams' educational interests include teaching and development of teaching lectures for medical students and residents as well as development and management of the hospitalist and fellowship programs at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
