Clinical Interest
Dr. Ramsey is currently faculty at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, providing inpatient consultation to patients requiring palliative care services. She also participates as a hospitalist physician for a portion of the academic year. While working full time, she is pursuing a master’s in medical education at the University of Pittsburgh.
Educational Interest
Dr. Ramsey currently holds the role of subspecialty education coordinator within the section of palliative medicine. Her overall aim is to further develop education of palliative care amongst other specialties, and to improve the quality of palliative care by creating continuing medical education curricula for practicing clinicians.

She enjoys teaching the application of palliative care among all specialties and guiding newer trainees in the role of primary palliative care. She coordinates all graduate medical learners rotating through the palliative care clinical service and ensures optimal learning opportunities and resources.
