Educational Interest
Dr. Gerber focuses his educational interests on teaching inpatient hospitalist procedures (e.g., arthrocentesis, paracentesis, lumbar puncture); teaching urine microscopy; teaching polarized light microscopy for crystal analysis; and teaching blood-smear evaluation. He is also interested in utilizing and teaching Point of Care Ultrasound as a tool for the diagnostic evaluation.
