Research Interest
Dr. Althouse is one of the biostatistics faculty appointed within the Center for Research on Health Care. His principal research interest is the design, conduct, and analysis of randomized controlled trials. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts, and presently works as the lead statistician on eight active randomized trials in medicine across several specialties including palliative care, primary care, nephrology, and cardiology. In addition, Dr. Althouse is Statistical Editor for Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions and Vice Chair of the American Heart Association Statistics Task Force.
