Clinical Interest
Dr. Peter Counihan's interests include cardiovascular hemodynamics and the assessment of valvular heart disease. He has a particular interest in the evaluation and treatment of patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Dr. Counihan has treated selected patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with alcohol septal ablation, a newer and less invasive technique in the therapy of these patients.
