Dr. Wong has a research interest in extensively drug resistant gram-negative bacterial infections, both currently available therapeutic strategies, but also with the integration of rapid diagnostics, novel treatment agents, and the optimization of treatments. During his fellowship he performed clinical research on Clostridium difficile and has maintained an interest in C. difficile care. He also has developed a collaborative relationship with orthopedic colleagues and gained experience in management of orthopedic associated infections and limb salvage.
