Clinical Interest
Dr Sangeeta Rana is a Clinician-Educator in the division of Geriatric Medicine and was formerly Medical Director of the Geriatric Care Center at UPMC St Margaret. She currently has an active practice in Ambulatory and Long term care. She sees patients both as a primary care physician and for geriatric consultation. She is involved with teaching of medical students, residents and geriatric fellows. Over the years she has been an active presenter at the American Geriatrics Society and AMDA Meetings. She is board certified in Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine.
Most recently she has been involved with the PA Department of Health and Human Services Regional Response Health Collaborative Program to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 in Long term care facilities.
