Research Interest
Dr. Hughes' research interests concentrate on transplant hepatology, specifically examining modes of cardiac risk stratification among adult liver transplant candidates, and methods of optimizing post-transplant outcomes.
Clinical Interest
As a transplant hepatologist, Dr. Hughes specializes in management of acute liver injury, chronic liver disease and liver transplantation.
Educational Interest
Dr. Hughes teaches gastroenterology fellows, advanced fellows, residents, and medical students.
