Research Interest
Dr. Bariola's interests include improved use of antimicrobials for hospitalized patients as well as the use of rapid diagnostics to improve the detection and timely management of infections. He also has interests in the area of endemic fungal infections, particularly blastomycosis.
Clinical Interest
Dr. Bariola has a clinical interest in improving antimicrobial use for hospitalized patients. He also has interests in endemic mycoses and other fungal infections.
Educational Interest
Dr. Bariola previously served as Fellowship Director of an Infectious Diseases Training Program and has mentored medical students, Internal Medicine residents, and Infectious Diseases fellows regarding careers in Infectious Diseases.
