Research Interest
Antimicrobial stewardship interventions, including process and outcome measures. Specifically, defining and measuring antibiotic appropriateness metrics to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of antimicrobial stewardship interventions.
Clinical Interest
Implementing and developing antimicrobial stewardship best practices in acute care settings using data-driven interventions, particularly in community hospitals with limited local antimicrobial stewardship resources and expertise. Decreasing unnecessary antibiotic use for urinary tract infections.
Educational Interest
Previously served as guest lecturer for Infectious Diseases Pharmacotherapy courses at Schools of Pharmacy. Provide training and mentorship to pharmacy residents and PharmD candidates interested in careers in Infectious Diseases.
