Research Interest
Dr. Templer's research interest is in the intersection between leadership skills and maintaining wellbeing during medical training.
Clinical Interest
Nontuberculous mycobacterial disease- including MDROs
Educational Interest
Dr. Templer received training as a professional development coach and specializes in Leadership curriculum development and delivery in the UME realm centered around emotional intelligence and professional identity formation. Another area of interest is wellbeing, especially in helping learners develop skills during medical training that allow them to remain resilient once they complete training and go into practice. She is also passionate about LGBTQI education and advocacy.
